Meet Tessa Schuster Campbell
Tessa grew up in Idaho Falls and is proud to call Southeast Idaho her home. She started cello at age 7 and studied with Dr. Rebecca Lyman in Rexburg. Tessa received her Bachelors in Cello Performance from Brigham Young University, under the direction of Dr. Michelle Kesler, in 2019.
Tessa’s passion is teaching cello! She has taught for over 15 years, and enjoys working with all levels and ages. She loves all styles of music including classical, folk, rock and pop. She is a member of the Music Teachers National Association and is a Suzuki Certified teacher.
Tessa has been involved in many symphonies, including the BYU Philharmonic, Idaho Falls Youth Symphony, Idaho All-State, All-Northwest, Pit Orchestras, and currently plays in the Idaho Falls Symphony.
TSC Teaching Style
Tessa teaches using the Suzuki Method and firmly believes in it’s motto “Every child CAN!”. However, Tessa modifies it to “Everybody CAN!”. Her first goal in private lessons is to re-motivate students. Music is amazing and beautiful - and is fun to play! Cello is amazing…soothing, relaxing, exciting, passionate, and fun all wrapped in one.

Private Lessons

Private lessons are perfect for students wanted to learn cello, develop skills, and further excel on their instrument. Private Studio students have a weekly 1:1 lesson with Tessa, as well as 2 student recitals per year.
Recommended for those in Rexburg, Rigby, or Idaho Falls area.
Online Lessons
$40/30 Minute
Live outside of Southeast Idaho? No problem! Online lessons are for those still wanting weekly lessons and that 1:1 time with Tessa. Perfect for students looking to learn cello, or further their skills on their instrument.
Recommended for those outside of Rexburg, Rigby, or Idaho Falls.
Musician for Hire
$100/hour starting
Wedding? Corporate Party? Any other type of event? Contact Tessa today to schedule your ensemble including solo cello, duets, trios, and string quartets. Price varies according to ensemble.
